Hi, my name is Frank Giglia, the creator, author and publisher of the “Archangel” Book Series. Welcome to the site! I decided to start this website, and this blog, for two reasons:
1) To promote myself and the “Archangel” series because I think a lot of people will enjoy these books if they knew they existed. Call it tooting my own horn if you want, but you’ll never know if you don’t check it out!
2) I’m fascinated by ideas and how ideas are formulated and executed. I’m the type of person that sees a play and wants to be, not on stage, but backstage seeing how a show is run. I feel like there are a lot of people out there like me, so to that end in this blog I plan to give a peek behind the only curtain I have almost unrestricted access to: my own mind.
I hope to show how the “Archangel” series developed along the lines of the person I am, and how this translated to my writing process. There will be short stories, scraps, previews and other fun stuff, as well as resources for writers and hopefully more as the “Archangel” series develops. As this is a historical fiction series, I hope to help writers learn how to draw from true historical inspiration to make their ideas a reality.
In this way I hope to provide some kind of blueprint for other creators to make sense of that messed up place we call our minds and maybe help them finally get that idea down on “paper.”
I’m going to keep this site clear of politics as much as I can. There is far too much noise on the internet already and I refuse to add to it. Everything on this site should be considered pulled from mythology or my opinion unless I specifically mention a source.
